Indian Chicken Masala



         
Chicken Masala Recipe
Chicken Pieces            - ½ Kg
Red Chili powder       -1tsp
Curd                            -3-4 tsp
Turmeric Powder        -1/2 tsp
Cashew Nuts               -9-10
Milk                             -4-5tsp
Oil                               -4tsp
Onion                          -2
Tomato                        -1
Ginger Garlic Paste     -1tsp
Cumin Powder            -1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder       -1 tsp
Cinnamon                    - 1 – 2
Curry Leaves               -1- 2
Cloves                         -4
Black Pepper Powder -1/2 tsp
Salt                              - As per taste – ½ tsp


Mari nation
Marinate chicken by adding – Red chili powder, turmeric powder, curd, salt, chicken pieces – marinate for 20 – 30 minutes.
Beside Make a paste of Cashew & Milk – use a food processor (Mixie)

For Dry Powder:
Dry roast Cinnamon, Curry Leaves & Cloves and make powder (use processor)

Ground Paste:
Heat Oil – Add onions & fry  until brow (light pink) – add ginger garlic paste fry for 5 minutes – add coriander . cumin , pepper powder 7 fry for  a minute – add tomato and cook for 3 -4 minutes until the oil starts to separate –  now let the mixture cool down , later put it in a food processor (mixie) and make a paste of it . add water if needed let the paste be lil thick.

Now when all the Food processing things are over.
Heat oil – add marinated chicken and fry it until color starts to change max 8 minutes required – add the ground paste & cook 2 minutes – now add cashew paste & the dry powder. Now cook until chicken gets cooked add water if needed. Garnish with coriander..

How to Fry an Egg









Ingredients:
1) Egg
2) Oil – 2tsp
3) Salt – As per requirement
4) Pepper – As per requirement

Method:
Heat oil in a flat pan; once oil gets heated put egg (inside) n top it with salt, pepper   . Once you see the browning at the edges flip the side of the egg to fry it at the other end . Fry for 2 minutes... yeahh you’re easy fried egg is ready

Have you ever imagined that one could loose his/her weight through food intake, well yes it’s true? I will share to best of my knowledge of how one can reduce weight. First of all I would say while one starts his/her day to drink plenty of water  , thereafter reduction in consumption of oily food for a period of time , Eating fruits – fruits can boost your energy as well as give the needed nutrients n minerals n energy too . Try to consume fruits on times while you used to consume fried food. Even fruit juices make a lot of difference in body mechanism. In fact fruit juices are more advantageous than eating fruits. by having a regularly time period for consuming food , say if you have break fast  at 9 am , then have it at 9 am on regular basis . Try to have dinner at 7; it helps in digesting the food soon so that when you sleep your body also relaxes.

Carrot Juice


Ingredients:
  1. Carrot - 3
  2. Water - 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar - (as per taste) 3 tsp
  4. Cardamom - a pinch (use powdered cardamom)
Method:

First Remove the carrot skin n cut it into pieces . now use a juicer mixer or mixer grinder and put the carrot pieces and add little water and start the mixer see that it wont get thickened .. if so add lil more water . now pour the carrot pulp into a jug add suitable water and dilute it . add sugar and cardamom . your juice is ready top it with some ice cubes.....


Health Tip:
  1. Carrot juice is good for eye sight 
  2. Good for weight loss
  3. Chewing a carrot immediately after consuming food kills all harmful germs in mouth .

How to boil Potato

Things needed to boil a potato:



  1. Pressure cooker
  2. Potato
  3. salt
Method:

Using a pressure cooker is best for boiling anything , and also time saving usually we see many recipes and we as beginners never know the exact boiling time of potato or any other ingredient so today i will tell u how long will it take to boil a potato so that it can be mashed properly later .

First take pressure cooker - add the potatoes (unpeeled)(if potatoes are bigger in size cut them into halves)
now fill water up to the level of potato or slightly low to it add a pinch of salt (why salt is added for boiling potato instead of adding while cooking?) this question comes to every beginner .it is because adding salt during boiling makes the potato suck salt completely . now once you seal the pressure cooker keep it on high flame , once u get the first whistle slow down the flame and keep for 5 mins , and switch off the flame ... and keep the pressure cooker to cool by itself .after cooling open it you will get perfect boiled potatoes....

Easy Veg Sandwich



Ingredients:
  1. Bread slices - 12
  2. Tomato - 1(big red)
  3. Onion - 1(sliced into rounds)
  4. Potato - 2(small)
  5. Coriander chutney/Mint chutney(To make this refer earlier post)
  6. Tomatoe sauce
  7. Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Method:
First Boil the potato  and smash it , keep aside now take 2 slices of bread n toast them slightly(for toasting one can use a toaster or a frying pan ) now start to assemble the sandwich , first we start with coriander chutney/mint chutney apply it to one slice and top it with onion and tomato sprinkle some pepper powder apply tomato sauce to another slice no keep the second slice top of the first one . your easy sandwich is ready

Note: you can use a cheese slice too .....

Lemon Juice (Lime Juice)

Ingredients:
  1. Lemon - 1 
  2. Water - 2 cups
  3. Sugar - as per taste (4 tsp)
Method:
First take water in a vessel , squeeze lemon add sugar and stir well . your lemon juice is ready .

Health Tip:
  1. By adding a little salt to lemon juice , you can resist from cold and soar throat .
  2. Do not add salt if one has BP(blood pressure).

Ginger chutney


 
Ingredients:
1.       Onion – ½
2.       Garlic – 2 pods
3.       Ginger – ½ inch
4.       Grated coconut – ½ cup
5.       Tamarind – small piece
6.       Salt – as per taste
7.       Water – as per requirement
Method:
First Chop Ginger , Garlic , then grind it to paste with all other ingredients using a mixer grinder .

Uses of Ginger chutney:
1.       Its  a south Indian dish  used with congee.


Coriander chutney(Mint Cutney )








Ingredients:
1.       Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
2.       Mint leaves(pudina) –  4 leaves
3.       Onion – ½
4.       Garlic – 2 pods
5.       Ginger – ½ inch
6.       Grated coconut – ½ cup
7.       Tamarind – small piece
8.       Salt – as per taste
9.    Water - as per requirement
Method:
First chop the ingredients ie; coriander leaves, mint leaves, onion, garlic, ginger, now grind all the ingredients with  salt ,  tamarind , grated coconut. Here it would be better if u hand grind the paste  , using the olden days hand grinder . but as it would consume a lot of time better use a mixer . make a fine paste.

Uses of Coriander Chutney :
1.       This chutney is used as mint chutney in sandwiches, burgers.
2.       It’s a south Indian dish used with congee.

Easy Veg Cutlet




Ingredients:
1.       Potato – 2
2.       Carrot – 1
3.       Beetroot – 1 (small)
4.       Onion – 1
5.       Chilli – 1
6.       Red chilli powder – 1tsp
7.       Garam masala powder – 1tsp
8.       Rice flour – half cup
9.       Toast powder /rusk – half cup (Toast powder made by grinding the toast /rusk)
10.   Oil – 4tsp
11.   Salt – as per taste 
Method:
First Boil potato ,carrot and beetroot (remember  you can boil carrot and potato together but not beetroot as beetroot  has got a higher boil point , so boil it separately . i insist to use a pressure cooker for boiling saves a lot of time). after boiling put it in a vessel  and smash potato carrot and beetroot together add chopped onions , chopped chilli , red chilli powder and garam masala powder and salt make a batter . now make them into round balls n flatten them as per your choice heat oil on a frying pan (don’t deep fry ).now in another vessel mix rice flour and toast powder  , n dip the flatten rolls in the mixed flour n fry them fry until deep brown . until you get a crispy coating. Top it with chopped coriander leaves......
